My Background

Zachary Jenkins

Zachary T. Jenkins, CLTC

Founder and Principal

Zach was born in Southern Ohio and grew up on a corn and tobacco farm. His upbringing taught him the value of discipline and goal setting.

As a young man, he was heavily involved in the Boy Scouts and was the Bugler for his Troop until he was 18. On the morning of his 16th birthday, Zach held his Board of Review to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout.

One of his true passions in life is music. When in grade school, Zach’s oldest sister placed her high school trumpet in his hands and, since that day, he has been involved in some sort of band or musical performance. In all 4 years of high school, Zach was the President of the Ironton High School Million Dollar Marching Band.

Zach was accepted to the only University he ever wanted to attend: The Ohio State University. While there, he obtained his degrees in Psychology and Music. He was also a member of The Ohio State University Marching Band where he met his wife their Freshman year.

He and his wife became members of The Washington Redskins Marching Band when they moved to the DC area in 2012 until its dissolution in 2021.

When Zach is not with his clients, you can find him either on the golf course or spending time with his family and pets. He and his wife have a Norwegian Elkhound named Siggy, a German Shepherd named Sasha, and a Maine Coon named Freyja.

Zach serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Norwegian Society of Washington DC - a social organization designed to promote strong cultural ties across the Atlantic Ocean and to create a meeting place for people interested in Norway.

He also supports local organizations serving first responders, teachers, and nurses.
